Blue Cross of Idaho is looking for a Learning & Development Specialist who will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our Talent Management processes and programs. This includes performance management, succession planning, and competency models, including critical skills gap analysis, employee on-boarding, and career development. _In this position, you will: _
Provide organizational development interventions such as group facilitation, change management, team building, and process improvement projects.
Provide consultation and developmental support to management. Provide guidance to assist management in developing solutions and intervention strategies that meet the department needs for employee development.
Develop and implement corporate development programs ensuring use of good instructional design techniques.
Work with management to ensure training program continuity. Ensure training programs encourage equal opportunity and upward mobility for all employees.
Provide written and verbal analysis for department or corporate-wide special projects. Manage assigned projects to completion
Provide input on reports of workforce efficiency measures such as turnover, retention, benefits expense, staffing ratios, etc.
Maintain a professional employee development training library on the company intranet and through online libraries on the Talent Management System (TMS) and Learning Management System (LMS).
Three years’ organizational development/corporate learning & development experience at medium to large size organizations
Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources or a business related field; or equivalent work experience (Two years’ work experience is equivalent to one year college)
