Norco Inc. Denial Specialist in Meridian, Idaho
We are looking for a well-organized individual for our Denial Specialist position to work at our Billing Hub located in Meridian, ID. The ideal candidate will be a highly efficient, motivated individual who has strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Research and resolve outstanding claim issues to ensure proper payment is received.
Understand payer denial reasons for prompt resolution for outstanding claims.
Understand ICD-9/10 diagnosis codes in relation to billing guidelines
Follow payer appeal or corrected claim process when resubmitting denied claims
Submit for account adjustments, write off or money transfers in accordance to company
policy and procedures.
Work with Medical leadership team on identifying trends and issues impacting our ability to get paid on first submission.
Provide exceptional customer service to our patients and care givers on billing inquiries.
Provide exception internal customer service to team members and departments within Norco.
Candidates must be self-motivated with good customer service and communication skills required. General knowledge Microsoft Word and Excel plus 10 key by touch is preferred. Insurance billing, coding or medical terminology knowledge is also a plus. Applicants must be detail oriented and able to multi-task. Good people skills and a team oriented attitude are a must!
