IHT Server Infrastructure Supervisor
St. Luke’s Integrated Health Technologies is seeking a Server Infrastructure Supervisor who is excited to join an exceptional, professional, technical team. We are looking for a person that would like to join the state’s largest healthcare organization, where we strive to add only those who will continue our tradition of excellence.
This individual will lead a team of server engineers supporting a fast paced, complex environment and will actively participate in the technical and support activities of the team, ensuring system uptime in a 24x7 healthcare environment. This person will continually strive for process improvements and will be a key team member responsible for delivering stable and reliable systems including business continuity and disaster recovery solutions.
IHT Server Infrastructure Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate production issue resolution. Ensure that resources are available and assign resources as needed to resolve production issues in a timely manner, 24x7x365.
Review and monitor the technical infrastructure call queue. Assign calls to appropriate staff. Ensure calls assigned to this queue are addressed, managed and closed in a manner that meets service level agreements.
Assign staff resources to on-going internal IT and enterprise projects. Support Health System technology projects at all sites.
Communicate issues and coordinate scheduled outages to IT Leadership and staff across the enterprise.
Review and approve technical infrastructure design.
Determine, document and communicate infrastructure team process improvement initiatives.
Lead technical infrastructure team capital projects. Ensure that tasks and projects are delivered on time and within budget. Communicate project status to IT Leadership.
Provide technical environment analysis and technical infrastructure strategic vision to IT Leadership. Evaluate and recommend changes to technical infrastructure.
Maintain vendor relationships in relation to production issue resolution, reviewing new products and new technologies
Graduation from a college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, a related field, or 4 year's of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Additional 4 year's of experience required.
Minimum five years IT experience with enterprise class equipment.
Minimum two years of direct supervisory experience in an IT environment.
Ability and willingness to lead project members within an IT environment (project guidelines and timeframes/system support) to provide service excellence to the user community.
Ability and willingness to work non-standard hours as required.
