Sous Chef

The Sous Chef assists and supports the Executive Chef/Chef with all aspects of managing the kitchen and compliance with all standards and procedures. The Sous Chef will have an in-depth knowledge of all kitchen operations and culinary techniques so that in the absence of the Chef, additional responsibilities can and will be assumed.

Required Criteria

  • Associates or 2 yr culinary arts food program or 2 yrs experience

  • 4 Cooking experience

  • 1 of 7- Experior food safety cert, national registry of food safety professionals cert (NRFSP), Idaho health district food handlers, certified foodservice professional program (CFPP), certified dietary manager (CDM), ServSafe food safety cert, national restaurant association cert (NRA)

Preferred Criteria

  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
