Role Summary:

The GE Transportation (GET) Junior Officer Leadership Program (JOLP) is a source of leadership talent for GE. In this program you will draw on your leadership skills, education, and previous experiences as a top-performing, Junior Military Officer (JMO) to solve complex business problems and develop and execute objectives for yourself and for others

Essential Responsibilities:

GE Transportation JOLP is an industry-leading development program for Junior Officers transitioning from Military Service. The JOLP is a 2-year rotational program that provides you with broad business experience and exposure through three eight-month rotations.

The program focuses on building leaders for various functions, including:

  • Program Management

  • Supply Chain / Manufacturing

  • Finance

  • Engineering

  • Product ManagementSales and Commercial Operations

In addition to the rotational assignments, you will participate in curriculum-based training focused on leadership, product, and the financial skills required to be a GE leader. You will be expected to learn rapidly, take responsibility for, and perform in a series of challenging roles where you will be able to quickly make an impact on the organization. You will be expected to adapt to gain situational and organizational awareness in a dynamic business environment, and add value in your assigned role. These challenging rotational opportunities provide valuable contacts and experiences that can accelerate the development of your technical, business, and professional skills.


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum 4 years of commissioned service

  • Willingness and ability to relocate, as needed
