Job Title: IT Intern

Reports To: IT Team Leader

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

TitleOne is a local title and escrow company that helps facilitate one of the biggest purchases of someone’s life—a home. We are seeking driven students who will be responsible for general reception, interacting with customers daily, and assisting the real estate process through our Information Technology department.


TitleOne internships give students the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in the title and escrow industry, provide a full and realistic view of workplace culture and expectations, and help students build professional networks while working at a company ranked “Best Places to Work” in Idaho for five consecutive years.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (include the following but are not limited to)

  • Provide excellent customer service while answering incoming telephone calls and completing customer requests.

  • Scan original documents into ResWare database and provide documentation to recipients

  • Support IT department in daily functions as well as weekly and monthly projects (specifics discussed in interview process)

  • Provide support to Accounting and Finance departments including data entry, analysis, and miscellaneous projects

  • Troubleshoot and assist with office day-to-day issues

  • Clean duplicate partner entries in ResWare

  • Reconcile IT inventory in Asset Panda

  • Prepare, install, support new desktops and laptops

  • Update network diagrams using Microsoft Visio

  • Assist web developer by testing website after changes

  • Research and propose a texting solution for TitleOne funders and processors

Additional responsibilities will also be tailored to the student’s major and/or career goals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Excellent computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet research

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Strong written, oral communication and proofreading abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Proficient at word processing, email and data entry

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to complete projects independently

  • Ability to problem solve and excel in a fast-paced environment

  • Have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and flexibility to embrace change
